Pine - C & Better Select
Jones Lumber has extensive milling capabilities to mill lumber to special size requirements, as well as WCLIB certified lumber grades. If you don't see the size you need, be sure to call!

Grading of select/common pine lumber is by visual inspection and is a judgement of appearance and suitability to end-use rather than strength. Natural characteristics and manufacturing imperfections are taken into account.

Sugar Pine: It is the tallest of all pines and is distinguished by a creamy white wood which darkens to a pale brown, sometimes tinged with pink, as it ages. It works well with either hand or machine tools, making it an ideal product for pattern making. It's fine, even-grain texture enables it to be readily fashioned into smooth, straight surfaces and shapes.

C & Better Select: Recommended for all finish uses where fine appearance is essential. It is widely used for high wuality interior and cabinet work with natural stain or enamel finshes. Some of the defects that are allowed are very small pitch pockets and light stain. It is stacked in Sugar Pine; surfaced and kiln dried.

Color: Creamy white to pake brown.

Stock Sizes:
1x4, 1x6, 1x8, 1x10, 1x12
